This recreation of a retro Iowa design features the seal of the university, founded in 1847. Though it’s nationally known for the athletics we know and love, UI is also well known for its programs in fine arts and the humanities. In fact, 46 Pulitzer Prize winners once called Iowa home, several of whom are graduates of the famed Iowa Writers’ Workshop.
