Like all the famous sports in town, Columbus takes great pride in hockey, with the Ohio State women’s hockey team leading the way. The team surged in the late 2010s, and since the turn of the decade, has been nothing short of a hockey powerhouse. The Buckeyes made five consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances since 2020, winning two titles in 2022 and 2024 (and finishing as runners up in 2023).
