MSU was originally founded as the Agricultural College of the State of Michigan in 1855 – the first land-grant institution in the country. Today, Michigan State offers over 200 academic programs and 12 varsity sports. This vintage-inspired patch, based on an old Michigan State decal, is our tribute to the Spartans' long history.
